This design and renovation project was carried out in Centre-Wellington, ON. An old deck was demolished, a new 2-tier deck was planned, landscaping and hot tub were installed.

 

The existing deck was small, falling apart and pulling away from the house. A whole new backyard space was designed, including a large 2-tiered deck sprawling out over 420sf, hot tub, gas BBQ, privacy louvres, new gate and fence, integrated LED edge lighting, and landscaping.

The construction also included regrading the earth under the deck to slope away from the house, toward water-loving plants.

​

Project was completed during the Covid lumber shortage, and ended up greatly increasing the resale value of the home.
